Runescape Auto Trainer
In order to create many of the most powerful and useful items and equipment in RuneScape, players must invest hours in increasing their character’s skills.
Smithing, crafting, mining; just about every skill
has to be trained in order to get the most out of it.
Training these skills in an area of the game that many
players find a little boring. While players can buy the
items from other players who have invested the time
necessary to train their character, this only shifts the
work from training to making money, which is often just as
tedious. However, some RuneScape players/programs have found
a solution: the auto trainer.
Auto trainers are third-party programs (i.e., created by a
programmer not affiliated with RuneScape) that other gamers
can use to automate training and other aspects of the game.
Players should be warned, however, that auto trainers are
often scams designed by other players to steal passwords,
credit card information, or other information. Players
should always approach an auto training program with caution
and never enter any passwords or personal information into
them.
Some auto training programs are free; others require a small
fee to download or to register them. Just because an auto
training program requires a fee, however, does not mean it’s
not a scam. Likewise, some auto training programs are really
free. Another note of caution: RuneScape staff does not
allow auto training programs to be used in the game, and
players found using one may be banned.

A quick internet search for “RuneScape auto trainer” will
give players a good starting place to find a program of
their liking. Also, players can ask around on forum message
boards for recommendations. Then players have to decide what
they need their auto training program to do. Many will train
just about any skill: fishing, cooking, mining, smelting,
crafting, wood cutting, etc. Some of the more advanced auto
trainers even allow players to record a series of keystrokes
and assign them to a macro or loop them over and over to
create their own automated process. The newer auto training
programs will even incorporate breaks, pauses, and other
user-like actions to fool RuneScape staff into thinking the
character is not using an auto training program.
Gamers who are looking for a way of building their
character’s skill levels without sitting in front of their
computer for hours may want t invest in an auto trainer.
However, players should realize that auto trainers give them
an unfair advantage and are considered illegal software.
Gamers also need to beware of scams when downloading auto
trainers and should never enter their password into one.
Auto training can allow players to focus only on the fun
aspects of the game, but it also has some risks. Players
should be cautious when using an auto training program.
